People on the Move
The State of the State is in the history books and the deadline for submitting bill requests to Lege Council is tonight. We’re rockin ’ and rollin ’ now. No, not really. Now we’re kicking off a holiday weekend and looking forward to more filings of priority bills, bill referrals, organizational meetings, hearings, subcommittee work, and more. But first, enjoy your President’s Day Weekend. The hurry up and wait part of session is nearing an end. Promise. Meantime, the career news has been a bit slow as of late but there are some key hires and new ventures to tell you about. You can always share the news with the Texas Capitol community by sending it to ksbraddock@gmail.com . Use POTM in the subject line. Thanks very much. Here’s the latest edition of People on the Move.
